Mark Korman is a graduate of Germantown Academy and Duke University respectively. He is an active alumnus at both institutions. He was a founding board member of Community Partnership School in North Philly & the Ambler Theater. Also, Mark served on the Board of Lower Gwynedd Little League where he coached, as well as coaching for over a decade for Whitpain Rec. Assoc. currently, Mark sits on the Board of PYB (Philadelphia Youth Basketball).
Mark started with Korman in 1994 as the Marketing Director for the KormanSuites Apartments brand, after a four-year career in LA working in various aspects of the entertainment industry. In 2005, Mark founded the Commercial Division of Korman Communities. Since that time, he has purchased, developed, renovated, recapitalized and/or sold 10 commercial properties including value-add industrial, office and retail. Specific uses include car washes, stand-alone retail, neighborhood shopping centers, office/medical, mixed-use, and multi-family land development.
